The kINPen® MED is a device for generating cold tissue-tolerable plasma.
By the synergetic combination of various active components of the plasma, such as reactive nitrogen and oxygen species (RNS, ROS), UV radiation and electromagnetic fields a strong antibacterial and proliferation-promoting effect is generated. Thus, the kINPen® MED is particularly suitable for the local treatment of chronic wounds and difficultly treatable pathogen generated diseases of the skin.
The kINPen® MED is an approved cold plasma device for medical applications. This innovation is a joint development of neoplas Tools GmbH and the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology Association, in collaboration with the University of Greifswald and the Charité in Berlin.
The kINPen® DENT is a plasma device to generate cold tissue tolerable plasma -specifically for use in dentistry.
The development is carried out starting from the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology eV in close cooperation with the University of Greifswald and the Charité – Medical University of Berlin.
